“Of Course He Can Do It” Tony Bellew Predicts Tyson Fury-Oleksandr Usyk Rematch

Oleksandr Usyk and Tyson Fury delivered a heavyweight bout worthy of the rarely seen undisputed championship, with the Ukrainian coming out on top and taking home all four belts.

Despite Fury’s success in the middle rounds, landing some uppercuts that hurt Usyk considerably, the now undisputed champion found a higher gear and scored a thrilling knockdown in the ninth before winning a split decision on the scorecards.

The Brit has now activated his contractual clause for a second fight. Speaking to IFL TV, Bellew said ‘of course’ he has a chance in the rematch.

“No shame in that, and of course he can win the rematch. Any fighter can come back. The mark of a man is how he comes back from defeat.”

Despite that, the former cruiserweight champion who lost to Usyk in his final fight still predicts it will be repeat rather than revenge.

“Based on the last performance, no, you can’t make a call for that. But has he got a chance? 100% … Oleksandr Usyk. What a guy, what a man. The greatest cruiserweight, and let me tell you he’ll go down as one of the greatest heavyweights as well.”
