“He’s A Wrecking Machine”Tony Bellew Predicts ‘Brutal KO’ In Joshua-Dubois Fight

Boxing fans may be in for an all-British banger this September if Anthony Joshua and Daniel Dubois can reach terms to face off at Wembley Stadium.

Dubois is riding high off of a career-best win over Filip Hrgovic in which he snatched the IBF Interim World title, making him mandatory challenger for Oleksandr Usyk again after losing to him last year.

Should the belt go vacant, the teams are working on Joshua facing Dubois for it. If it happens, Tony Bellew told IFL TV ‘AJ’ becomes a three-time world champion, even despite reserving high praise for ‘DDD’.

“Daniel Dubois – I can’t write him off ever again unless he’s facing AJ, Usyk or Fury. I can’t write him off again. If he fights AJ next, I’m sorry to say it but it ends quickly and brutally [for AJ].

Purely based on the fact of let’s just put two and two together here. He took 56 clean right hands in the firs four [Hrgovic] rounds. You’ll get away with one or two with AJ and then what happens? You just go to sleep.

I take nothing away from him. Amazing heart, amazing resilience and huge amount of courage shown against Filip Hrgovic. But it’s one thing Filip Hrgovic hitting you, it’s another thing a wrecking machine like Anthony Joshua hitting you.”
