Gymnastics queen Simone Biles never shies away from extending her support and cheering for her husband Jonathan Owens from the stands. And hence, despite being wary of the minus mercury levels of Wisconsin, Biles graced her presence at Green Bay to cheer for the NFL safety. Now, as the Thanksgiving season is just around the corner, Biles might just have another gift for Jonathan Owens, as she learned a thing or two about her husband’s field of play.

After facing defeat from the Minnesota Vikings on 29th October, the Green Bay Packers stood victorious against Los Angeles Rams on November 5. Interestingly, Packers lead the scoreboard with the score of 20-3 against Rams. Following this, Simone Biles took to her social media handle to express her elation about the things she learned about NFL.

Simone Biles took to her X handle to show support for her husband’s team. In one tweet, she wrote, “Not me starting to understand football.” In a reply to the same thread, she added the words, “Who am I!!” That was a signal to the world that she is now getting hold of all things football.

In addition to those, Simone Biles wrote in an earlier tweet, “Go Pack Go.” It is precisely what impact Biles watching NFL games from the stands would have had. Simultaneously, Jonathan Owens is girded up to clinch this year’s Vince Lombardi trophy by presenting his best foot in the playoffs. By standing atop the podium in the playoff against Rams, the Packers is all set to lead the scoreboard.

Great performance from Jonathan Owens against the Rams

Simone Biles’ husband Jonathan Owens had a standout game for the Packers. Owens had one sack and five tackles overall. He also recorded three assists on tackles. The Packers’ defense missed a number of players against the Rams. Even so, the Packers clan made sure their absence was not felt. They recorded their second-best biggest win of the nine-game-old season after the 38-20 win over the Chicago Bears in game one.

The win ended their streak of four losses in succession and was their most convincing one of the season so far. The Packers remain in third position in the NFC North table.

Presently, they have the 5-4 Vikings and the 6-2 Detroit Lions ahead of them. They will face the 5-3 Pittsburgh Steelers next NFL Sunday. A win would bring them within touching distance of the Vikings. It remains to be seen if they can take the momentum from this win and make an argument to qualify for the playoffs.
